Chinese Immersion Program

The Chinese Language Institute (CLI) in Guilin was founded in 2009 and focuses on immersive Chinese language instruction framed by cultural understanding. The Chinese Immersion Program is a non-degree program at the Chinese Language Institute, lasting 2 weeks. It offers one-on-one Chinese lessons and weekly activities to help students learn Chinese in a comfortable environment.

The program includes 20 weekly hours of one-on-one Chinese lessons, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students also participate in weekly activities and excursions, such as bamboo boat rides and cooking lessons, to immerse themselves in Chinese culture.

After completing the program, students can pursue careers as Chinese teachers, translators, interpreters, language consultants, or cultural ambassadors, working in education, government, tourism, or international business.
