CLI-GXNU Study Abroad in China

The Chinese Language Institute (CLI) in Guilin was founded in 2009 and focuses on immersive Chinese language instruction framed by cultural understanding. The CLI-GXNU Study Abroad in China program is a non-degree program, lasting 9 weeks, that offers students a study abroad experience in China. Students are enrolled at Guangxi Normal University and also attend one-on-one Chinese language training at the Chinese Language Institute.

The program includes coursework in Chinese language and culture, as well as one-on-one language instruction. Students can choose between a standard or intensive program, with the intensive program offering more hours of one-on-one language training. The program also includes weekly activities and excursions, such as hikes and photography trips.

After completing the program, students can pursue careers as international business consultants, diplomatic assistants, foreign language journalists, cultural advisors, or academic researchers, working in fields such as international relations, business, media, or education.
